Cloning Information

The guide lists cloning support for Philips 46 using compatible chips, shells and Y170 blades. Listed systems include Clone Wizard, CN900, RW4, TRS-5000/EVO, Keyline 884 Ultegra, MiraClone, Tango and VVDI Mini Tool.

Some systems require internet access or a Philips Crypto update. The original transponder is not reusable unless it has been unlocked.

Recommended Ways to Make a Key

  1. Decode the door lock with a compatible reader/decoder to produce a working mechanical key.
  2. Use an appropriate automotive tryout-key set when decoding is not practical.
  3. Remove and decode a door or trunk cylinder. The seven cuts provide the working mechanical key combination.
Lock note: The book lists no stamped key code on the locks. The FOBIK ignition has no mechanical tumbler lock; mechanical cuts apply to the doors and optional trunk.

Key Cut / Tumbler Position Chart

12345678
› Ignition (Fobik; no mechanical lock) › Doors › Trunk (if equipped)

Positions 2–8 are used for the door and optional trunk locks. Position 1 is not used.
