Recommended Ways to Make a Key

Decode the door lock: Use an NE66 lock reader or decoder to obtain the mechanical key depths.

Disassemble a cylinder: Remove and disassemble the door cylinder when decoding is not possible. Read the depth number stamped on each tumbler and make a working key for the door cylinder.

Verify all locks: A correctly generated key should operate the other locks. This system uses four depths.
The tumbler positions are staggered between the two tracks. Do not use the stamped L/R letter as the true side reference; use only the stamped depth number.
